The Saus’s wardrobe is something of an entity. At 19-months old, it is – and has been since birth – voluminous, packed full of items that reek with cuteness mainly thanks to spoily grandparents. From perfect party frocks to trendy dungarees I’m totally jealous of it – I’d wear it all. Tell me, where are the adult versions of these clothes?! Not because I want to look like an adorable toddler, but because this stuff is AWESOME.
One of her most popular pieces has been a Mini Boden Snowsuit that she was bought for a ski trip to France and England’s long winter months. It has seen a lot of use. Aside from being practical, I’ve never known an item to draw such positive attention. People regularly walk past us in the street or in the park and comment upon seeing her, “ahhh, that’s just made my day, what a fantastic outfit, I wish I had one”. So with summer speeding away fast I thought I’d indulge in a spot of Mini Boden browsing and pick my travel wardrobe wishlist for girls for the upcoming months.
Knowing how much little ones love splashing in water, it’s always worth having a waterproof in their wardrobe. On rainy days at home or away, you can stave off a bit of cabin fever and get them out in the fresh air, safe in the knowledge they’ll be toasty and dry. The sheer joy on their little chubby cheeks when their wellies go SPLISH – magical.
On the subject of wellies, take a look at these corkers. May it be known I have a thing for neon and therefore am a big fan of anything bright. Dress children like the happy rays of sunshine they are I say.
Safe to say I’d probably snap up the whole collection, be totally indecisive about what to take and end up paying for over-sized baggage! I couldn’t choose just one from this lovely lot, so here’s my top 5 casual dresses from the selection. The sparkly collar on the bird jersey dress is a particularly nice touch.
Two beach looks I am absolutely loving: summer-y, fresh, loose-fitting and plenty of hippy vibes – either of these two pieces would be great for kids on a family beach holiday.
To look like a funky little monkey on the beach you can’t go wrong with these bright and vibrant treats: 1. Hotchpotch Swimsuit 2. Bikini 3. Towelling beach dress. Don’t forget the sunblock!
6. Gearing up for Autumn
Oh Boden you are really spoiling us with these colours! I mean really, look at that stripey neon hoodie, and those tights…that hat! It’s a neon dream and perfect for brightening up a cold, grey day. I’ll of course be plucking one of their snowsuits in the next size up as the last one was totally worth the money.
Those boots were made for…looking like a total badass! In fact I want them…what’s the biggest size they come in…?
